If cholesterol and heart-health is your main concern, the 6-in-1 Lipid Analyzer gives you the full breakdown. If you also want to keep an eye on blood sugar and gout, the 3-in-1 Health Monitor covers more ground.
The 6-in-1 is a full lipid panel — six cholesterol-related readings. The 3-in-1 measures three different markers: cholesterol, glucose and uric acid. One goes deep on cholesterol; the other goes broad across metabolic health.
Total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, the TC/HDL ratio and the atherogenic index (AI) — all from a single fingertip sample.
Cholesterol, glucose and uric acid, using the matching test card for whichever marker you're checking.
No — they're separate devices. The 6-in-1 is dedicated to the lipid panel, and the 3-in-1 handles cholesterol, glucose and uric acid. Choose based on which numbers you most want to track.
Three steps: use a single-use lancet for a small fingertip drop, load it onto a test card and insert the card, then read your result on screen. Everything you need is in the box.
Around 40 seconds from a single fingertip sample — no lab wait.
The analyser, test cards, lancets, capillary tubes, alcohol pads, cotton swabs, a storage bag and 2 AA batteries — enough to start testing straight away.
Yes. The device shows results in either unit, so you can match whatever your GP uses.
It stores up to 1,000 readings on the device and syncs over Bluetooth, so you can watch how your numbers change over time rather than reading them in isolation.
2 AA batteries, included in the box.
No. These kits are for self-monitoring at home. They help you track your numbers and decide when to speak to your GP — they don't replace clinical testing, diagnosis or medical advice.
The devices use dry-chemistry test cards and are UKCA/CE marked for the UK market. As with any home test, accuracy depends on good technique — a clean sample, the right drop size and in-date test cards.
Use them to spot trends over time and to have a better-informed conversation with your GP or pharmacist. If a reading is unusually high or low, or you feel unwell, seek professional advice.
No. Never start, stop or adjust any medication based on a home reading. Always speak to a qualified healthcare professional first.
Fasting can affect some results, particularly triglycerides and glucose. Follow the instructions included with your kit, and any guidance your GP has given you about when to test.
They're designed for adults monitoring their own health at home. If you're pregnant, managing a diagnosed condition, or unsure whether home testing is right for you, check with your GP first.
One test card per test. Refills come in packs of 10, 20 or 30 cards, so you can buy the pack size that suits how often you test.
No — each device uses its own cards. The 6-in-1 takes lipid test cards; the 3-in-1 takes its own cholesterol, glucose and uric acid strips. Always match the card to the device.
No. The two devices aren't cross-compatible. Using the wrong card won't give a valid reading.
Keep them in a cool, dry place and sealed until you're ready to use them, and check the expiry date before testing. Out-of-date or poorly stored cards can affect your result.
It depends on how often you test — most people test weekly or fortnightly. Keeping a spare pack in means you're never caught short mid-test.
